The first of the HPA trips of 2019-2020 kicked off on Tuesday 22nd October where 41 year 9s, 10s and 11s made the journey down to the UK’s highest rank University – Cambridge University. The pupils got a flavour for what life at Cambridge University would be like through a walk through the historic city, a guided tour of Christ’s College, a chance to meet the students as well as completing a student life activity. Here pupils got an insight into what university life at Cambridge would be like if studying subjects like Medicine, Economics, HSPS, Law and Geography. Pupils also got a chance to see what extra-curricular societies, sports teams and clubs were available to join. The day was very informative, exciting and inspirational.
