The students worked closely with professional illustrators and looked at poster design with the use of collage and colour. The theme was ‘Our Creative Future’, how we look at our own futures and those around us to ensure creativity throughout our lives.
Year 9 worked on a spectacular piece with combining colour and use of collage to collaborate ideas surrounding the shape of their hands that reflected community. Year 7 worked well together in a large team to show how their individual talents and personalities could be brought together in a creative paint palette!
Ellen Baker from year 7 Ipsley won 3rd prize for the Arts Award for her individual interpretation of Creative Futures. Well done Ellen!
