On 3rd March, Mr Bayley took a team of two Year 10 students and two Year 11 students to compete in a regional Chemistry competition organised by the WMCTC and RSC. Our team finished in 11th place; however, that reflects the quality of the opposition schools that we faced. Arrow Vale were proud to be the only school competing that were not either a grammar school or private school. After achieving full marks in four out of the ten rounds, our students could hold their head up high. They were also placed joint first after one of the rounds and only actually finished just five marks off finishing in the top half of the table. A huge well done and hopefully the first of many years that we can compete in this prestigious event.
